This is just to prove that we DID indeed catch fish on our trip to the Gulf! If you click on the photo of Ray, (with his lovely Salmon) you will get a nice view of the Monkin River at Pormpuraaw. We spent 10 days at the river and had fish every night.

If you click on the picture of me, (with my 3.5kg salmon) you get an idea of the camping arrangements at Kowinyama. The silver tent on the side of the truck was our bedroom, and the ropes doubled as a washing line! All the clothes had been HAND WASHED in the blue bowl on the milk crate, and rinsed in the white bucket next to me! and things really got dirty! Notice the ground? course sand and black ashes, with a tiny bit of grass trying to peak through.
